The ProMIX Eclipse 2K range is a set of tinters, a clear and plasticisers used to mix plain and metallic solid colours to formula. The finished paint is a high-solids acrylic polyurethane topcoat.
Mixed colour is activated 2:1 with an Eclipse activator and reduced 5–10% with Eclipse thinner. The supplier states that two coats are sufficient, with good coverage and gloss.
Suitable substrates include sanded, through-hardened paintwork, Eclipse 2K primer, sanded OEM primer and Eclipse polyester putties.
