This plain-backed roll is from the Smirdex 740 ceramic line: ceramic grain on D/C-weight semi-latex paper with an open coat and water-based stearate layer. The ceramic grain holds its edge longer than conventional abrasives, and the stearate gives high resistance to loading.
The line is intended for primers, e-coat, scratch-resistant varnishes and composites in automotive, composites and marine work. It accepts higher working pressure for high removal rates.
