923 Heavy Cut is the cutting stage of Smirdex’s polishing system for automotive refinishing. It is water-based and silicone-free, suitable for all types of automotive clearcoat, and formulated to limit paste spatter while the pad is turning.
Apply after sanding with P1500 or finer to take out sanding scratches and restore colour brightness and gloss. Work one area at a time with a Smirdex 952 lambswool or 951 polishing pad, then wipe off residue with a clean, dry microfibre cloth.
Smirdex 924 Perfect Finish can be applied over 923 for a mirror-gloss, hologram-free result.
