The 270 waterproof disc uses silicon carbide grain on a waterproof B/C-weight latex paper with a closed coat. It is made for wet finishing of varnished surfaces in automotive and marine refinishing.
With a suitable interface pad, the fine grades can also be used for precision wet micro-finishing, for example on lights. Smirdex also offers the line for correcting orange peel spot defects.
Westco stocks the 125mm disc in P1500 and the 150mm disc from P1500 to P5000.
